Though most visit Cody Yellowstone in Spring, Summer, or Fall, the Winter has its own charm. Note that the East Entrance is closed to all but snowmobile traffic during the winter. Likewise, the Northeast Entrance is inaccessible from Cody during the winter months unless you are riding a snowmobile (there’s a 10 mile section called ‘The Plug’ that is not plowed for automobiles). But the journey is the reward, and you can look forward to an almost-empty Yellowstone cloaked in winter splendor.

At the time of booking, the Primary Guest shall pay a deposit of 30% of the total booking fee to secure the reservation. The remaining portion of the booking fee shall be due 10 days before the Check-In Date. Bookings/reservations not paid in full at least two (2) days before the Check-In Time shall be considered canceled by the Primary Guest and all deposits shall be forfeited by the Primary Guest, per the Roam Cody Yellowstone Cancellation Policy.
If the Primary Guest cancels their booking at least 30 calendar days prior to the Check-In date, they shall receive a full refund of any prepaid amount (less a 10% processing fee). Cancellations made by the Primary Guest fewer than 30 days but more than 14 days before Check-In shall receive a 50% refund of any prepaid amount. Roam Cody Yellowstone shall make no refunds of prepaid amounts for cancellations made fewer than 14 days before scheduled Check-In.
No. To reduce allergens for our guests with allergies, we unfortunately cannot permit pets on our properties. With formal documentation, we will accommodate a service animal per the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please note that under the ADA, only dogs are recognized as service animals and accommodation of emotional support animals is not required.
While we cannot guarantee our properties to be allergen-free, we can tell you that we do not allow pets on our properties, nor do we use fabric softeners or scented detergents on our laundry. We have several family members with severe allergies, so we are sensitive to these issues and do our best to minimize allergens for our guests.
Absolutely! In fact, most of our guests are families traveling with children. We can provide a pack-and-play and clip-on high chair for your use at no additional charge. We also provide a child gate at the top of the stairs in the main house. Please note, however, that child-friendly does not imply child-proof – it is still the responsibility of the parent to monitor the safety of your child while on the premises.
So here’s the thing: even if it’s only temporary, nobody wants to fork over $3000+ just to book a vacation rental. That’s why we offer Waivo® Damage Waivers in lieu of security deposits for all reservations booked directly through our Roam Cody Yellowstone website (or VRBO). For a one-time, reasonable fee, your Waivo® Damage Waiver covers damages that may occur during your stay (limitations apply; consult your Vacation Rental Agreement for details).
Standard Check-In time is 4:00 PM. When booking directly with Roam Cody Yellowstone or via VRBO, you can purchase an early check-in that moves the Check-In time to 2:00 PM. Early Check-In is available only with purchase of this option at the time of booking.
Standard Check-Out time is 11:00 AM. When booking directly with Roam Cody Yellowstone or via VRBO, you can purchase a late check-out that moves the Check-Out time to Noon on the day of departure. Late Check-Out is available only with purchase of this option at the time of booking.
